The NCY Case Boring Tool is designed for performance engine builders installing oversized cylinders that require additional crankcase clearance.
When upgrading a GY6 engine to a larger bore cylinder, the cylinder skirt may be too large to fit into the factory crankcase opening. This tool allows the crankcase opening to be machined for the additional clearance required by many big-bore applications.

INSTALLATION / USE NOTE
Case boring is a precision machining procedure. Proper alignment is critical when enlarging the crankcase opening.
A drill press or suitable high-torque drill with a clutch is recommended. Work gradually and verify clearance during machining.
IMPORTANT: Thoroughly clean ALL aluminum chips and machining debris from the crankcase before engine assembly. Metal debris left inside the engine can cause serious bearing or internal engine damage.
